Thanks to all who responded to the last post.
Today, I wanted to amplify subscriber Janie’s comment: “I've been thinking three things as I've been reading your posts. Two are quotes and one is a possible next step. 1. Margaret Mead - "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." 2. Charles Kettering - "A problem well-stated is a problem half-solved." 3. Is it time for a small group of people who want to do something but don't know what to do to get together for a Sat/Sun innovation event to define a problem and propose a route to a solution? We know how to do this! Also, something that has been helpful in probing difficult-to-define problems is the socratic seminar. I'd be happy to facilitate. It could even be part of an innovation event.”
So — anyone in for a weekend ideation/innovation event, likely in March? Let us know in the comments, if so — and whether you would prefer/attend an in-person Iowa City event or would prefer a Zoom event (or option).
